Lest We Forget: Do you think it’s harder for a band if they have a female singer?

Hollie: I think it’s a tough one.. I can’t really say because people are interested sometimes because there aren’t that many girls in rock or punk bands, so it could actually be beneficial, it’s something different. But I think the rock genre is kind of more male. It’s tougher I think.

You need to be a tough girl. We’ve got a tough girl.

Hollis: You need to be a guy trapped in a girls body. I just kind of turned into a boy or something.

Lest We Forget: How have you met each other?

Hollis: Me and David, our other guitar player, we met one night randomly at a party in London. I was only here for two weeks. I wasn’t planing on staying, but we just met and we really clicked. I think it was predestined. We wrote one song that night and then just continued and never stopped writing since. We’ve played with a few people around London but it didn’t fit. Then we found Rico and James and Chamber and it really kicked up then.

Lest We Forget: On which other festival would you like to play in the future?

Rico: Glastonbury, Warped Tour, Reading and Leeds.

Hollis: We’ve played in Reading and Leeds and Warped Tour. We’ve played at Download but I’d like to play Glastonbury.

Rico: My high-pride is Warped Tour. I love the Warped Tour!

Lest We Forget: What’s the best moment when playing a gig?

Hollis: When people connect to what you sing.

Rico: Yeah. When you have the moment when you can feel they understand it and the connections flowing. When you feel the tension. It could be just a few people, it doesn’t matter.

Lest We Forget: What’s the first thing you do after a gig?

Hollis: We pack up all our stuff and hope that we don’t forget anything. I run sometimes the merchandise table if we have one. We don’t have really much help yet. We can’t really kick back as much as we’d love to be rock stars and just be like: hey, clean it up, get our stuff! We’re just trying to make sure we don’t forget anything.

Rico: Usually it’s the female power for the merch stand and the male power to pack things up and load the van.

Lest We Forget: If you’d had the chance to produce a movie, what would it be?

Hollis: And animated movie with our characters, with love zombies. It would be about saving earth and about love. To being love zombies. Not like robot on your phone, computer, dead zombies. It’s like wake up from that dream that actually happens. Reconnects and spread our love. And everyone would be happy [laughs].

Lest We Forget: If two of you would fall in love with the same person what would you do?

Hollis: We’d fight to the death of it.

Rico: Or have a threesome.

Hollis: Yeah, we’re love zombies, we love everybody. There’s no competition, we’d just all have sex

Lest We Forget: What do you do when you’re really really bored?

Rico: Sometimes I watch series on Netflix. But I don’t like that actually because I got stuck into that. I like it when as soon as I get bored, I pick up my guitar.

Hollis: Rico

Rico: Yeah, that’s me.

Rico: Oh, that’s Hollis. You could be the loudest. Your not the loudest but you could be. You have the potential in you.
